Lavender Season has come to Furano!
We took this picture today at Furano Winery. They have the lavender light up in the evening time in July. It would be one of the must see things to do in Furano during your trip in Furano.

Furano Flower Report 06 July 2008

Shikisai Hill has got a lot of colorful flower patterns lately. Since they have great flower lanes, even Canon's digital camera's TV commercial was shot in here with famous Japanese actresses. They have mountain buggy for you to go around the large flower field by yourself, and trolley bus to go around with your friends and family as well. This farms impresses the people that Furano area has got more high level flower farms these days. You must check out this flower farm when you come to Furano in July!

Furano Flower Report - 03 July 2007

Large part of Lavender Field is now blooming in Furano!
Here is some pictures of Saika Farm today.
It will be filled with 100% blooming lavender flowers soon!










Farm Tomita also has got some beautiful flower lines.
More flowers are coming up soon!










It is getting busier in every flower farms toward the middle of July,
as it always is.
Take some "Lavender Ice Cream" at Farm Tomita
after you see some beautiful lavender fields.

Furano Flower Report - June 2007

Lavender in Farm Tomita is still not ready to show their beauty,
although you could imagine how beautiful the lavender field will be from the pictures here.









Farm Tomita has a small green house to let people see small lavender field through the year even in winter season.
You can get a good shot with Farm Tomita sign.

Also, Farm Tomita has some beautiful flower lines at the moment that you can enjoy with.

Saika Farm neither has the lavender blooming yet,
though some pretty flowers opens already instead.

Furano Lavender Accommodations

Furano Lavender season usually starts around the middle of June and finishes around the end of July due to the farm staff cutting lavender for next season.
For a little while before and after of that period, you can see other kinds of flowers around Furano.
So you could say Furano flower season is around from June to August.
